Last December, the sneaker world was in a frenzy concerning news circulating about 2017 releases and it appears we have a preview of one the releases, the Air Jordan 5 “Cement”. We’ve seen the “Cement” on the Air Jordan 4 “Cement” which was re-released in 2016, however never on the Air Jordan 5. The shoe features an all white leather upper and black tongue, with highlights of “Cement” seen on the upper eyelets and midsole. The shoe also includes bits of red seen on the inner tongue lining along with a red Jumpman logo. Its unclear if the shoe will receive “Nike Air” branding. The shoe has received some mixed reviews especially from customizers prior to images being leaked of the silhouette, who feel the Jordan brand “copied” a colorway they’ve done for clients. The Jordan brand has not responded to any of the accusations. The release date for the Air Jordan 5 “Cement” has not been announced, stay tuned to Kickture for more information.
